# How much boost does the supercharger make during dyno testing on the Supercharged LS427?

Blueprint Engines' Supercharged LS427 engines are dyno tested at approximately **8 PSI of boost**. Actual boost pressure may vary once installed in a vehicle due to factors such as:

- Altitude
- Ambient temperature
- Humidity
- Engine load
- Pulley ratio
- Air intake restrictions
- Exhaust system configuration

Because of these variables, boost readings observed in a vehicle may differ from the dyno-tested value.

 Additional Information

Boost pressure is only one factor in engine performance. Horsepower and torque output can vary based on the complete vehicle combination, including tuning, fuel quality, intake components, and exhaust setup.
