Should I Use Stock/Mild or Street/Strip on My Sniper 2?

If your BluePrint Engine qualifies for both cam selections in the Holley Sniper 2 Setup Wizard, select Street/Strip. BluePrint's recommendation for Sniper-equipped engines is to use the Street/Strip cam profile when running the Setup Wizard. This is the baseline calibration used for their EFI engine packages.

Recommended Setup:

  • Cam Profile: Street/Strip
  • Engine Size: Enter your engine's CID
  • Idle RPM: Use the recommended idle speed for your engine (typically 750-950 RPM)
  • Timing Setup: Coil Negative / No Timing Control (unless the ignition system has been specifically modified for timing control)

Note: Even if the engine's idle vacuum appears to place it in the Stock/Mild range, BluePrint's guidance is to use Street/Strip when configuring a Sniper or Sniper 2 on a BluePrint engine.

Bottom Line:
Choose Street/Strip. This is the BluePrint-recommended setup for Sniper-equipped engines.
