# What Generation of Block Design Is My Engine Based On?

## BluePrint Engines are based on specific OEM engine platforms depending on the engine family. When ordering replacement parts, always reference the platform listed below for the best parts compatibility.

### ***Small Block Chevy (SBC)***

BluePrint SBC engines are based on the **1986-1999 Late Model Chevrolet 350 Small Block** platform.

**Reference as:**  
*1986-1999 Chevrolet 350 Small Block (Late Model)*

### ***Big Block Chevy (BBC)***

BluePrint BBC engines are based on the **1991-1995 Generation V / Generation VI Chevrolet Big Block** platform.

**Reference as:**  
*1991-1995 Chevrolet Big Block Gen V / Gen VI*

### ***Small Block Ford (SBF)***

BluePrint SBF engines are based on the **1984-1995 Ford 5.0 H.O.** platform.

**Reference as:**

### ***LS Series***

BluePrint LS-compatible engines are based on the **2008-2014 GM LS** platform.
