BluePrint Engines are built with a standard rotation timing cover. If using a reverse rotation water pump, a reverse rotation timing cover needs to be installed.
Standard timing covers are not universal for reverse rotation water pumps. This is due to the ports and the angles on the timing cover and water pump being different. Please see the difference below. Swapping to a different timing cover for your water pump does not void the engine's warranty.
