The plastic ring can help align crankshaft pulley's on some front accessory drives.
This white ring is fully removable and not required to align every single front accessory drives. We leave the ring in when we install CVF Racing's front serpentine drive. Carefully remove the white plastic ring if there are alignment issues or crankshaft pulley is catching on the ring.
